ChoiceAnalyst Release Notes
These release notes includes information that did not make into the documentation but represent product features that you may find useful.
ChoiceAnalyst 4.1 Build 4100
- ChoiceAnalyst now comes in 2 editions. The Personal Edition supports 1 decision maker while the Standard Edition includes up to 5 decision makers.
- ChoiceAnalyst now prompts the user to replace a file if a new model is created with the same file name as that which already exists in a given directory.
- The Application Options now includes a feature to turn on/off score data in the resulting PDF. The default is turn off reporting score data in the PDF Report.
- Application Options allow for one to timestamp the PDF report filename. If this feature is turned off Adobe may open the same report on a subsequent regeneration of the same model. This is a feature of Adobe. To correct when not using the timestamp feature, close the PDF document or the close Adobe PDF Reader application itself and regenerate the PDF report.
- Drag and Drop is supported. Start Windows explorer, select a ChoiceAnalyst file with a .XCA extension and drag and drop into the ChoiceAnalyst window. If a model is currently loaded, you will be asked to save it if it has been updated.
- You can have multiple ChoiceAnalyst applications loaded at the same time to support editing or reviewing multiple decision models or use this feature to support What-If analysis.
- Several command line options exist which override the Application Options. You can make these permanent by adding them to the shortcut. For example to always load the application such that it fills the entire screen, add the -fullscreen option as in ChoiceAnalyst -fullscreen [decisionmodel.xca] when running ChoiceAnalyst. You can also run ChoiceAnalyst from the command line with the -fullscreen option.
