RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is an XML-based format for sharing and distributing news and other web-based content. Using an RSS news aggregator you can download and view feeds from various sources, including this site. For example, Catalyst provides a feed for the technical support forum which you can use to notify you whenever someone posts a message.

News Aggregators

A news aggregator is an application that downloads and displays RSS news feeds. Most applications are stand-alone, although there are also browser plug-ins which can display feeds. There are a number of news aggregators available, such as SharpReader and FeedReader. Popular e-mail clients like Thunderbird also include RSS aggregators. If you are using Microsoft Outlook, we recommend Attensa.
