Description
The ActivePatch library enables the application to create a
patch of a single file, or to create an update for a complete
product, modifying existing files, removing files that are no
longer needed and creating the new files that have been added. It
is designed to work on both text and binary files of any type,
including executables, libraries, data files and documents.

Requirements
This library can be used with any Microsoft Windows development
language or scripting tool that is capable of calling exported
functions from a dynamic link library. It is designed for the
32-bit Windows platform, and is supported on Windows 95, Windows
98, Windows ME, Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000 and Windows XP. For
Windows 95/98 and Windows ME it is recommended that the system have
at least 8 MB of physical memory. For Windows NT 4.0, it is
recommended that the system have at least 32 MB of physical memory,
and have at least Service Pack 5 (SP5) installed. For Windows 2000,
it is recommended that the system have at least 64 MB of physical
memory.
Distribution
When you distribute your application that uses this library, it
is recommended that you install the appropriate files in the
Windows system directory or in the same directory as the executable
program which uses it. The ActivePatch library does not have any
dependencies on additional libraries except for standard system
libraries which are included with the operating system.
