Catalyst has completed a review of the controls (Visual Basic and ActiveX components) and libraries that comprise the SocketTools family of products. We understand the genuine concern that many companies and organizations have regarding Year 2000 compliance, and we are committed to providing the information that our customers need to ensure compliance in their products. Definition
A Year 2000 compliant library, component or application will not terminate abnormally or generate errors when processing a date during the transition from December 31, 1999 to January 1, 2000. The library, component or application must also recognize the year 2000 as a leap year, accepting February 29, 2000 as a valid date and correctly calculating the current day of the year.
Products
The following Catalyst products have been tested for Year 2000 compliance. However, because the SocketWrench and SocketTools controls and libraries are components, not applications, they require that the development environment also be Year 2000 compliant. For more information about compliance, contact your software development tools vendor.
